Dear Brother Knights,
We are fast approaching the initial fundraiser for 2015, our annual Brisket Fundraiser, which will be held on Sunday, February 15. This fundraiser’s success goes a long way in determining the support we will be able to provide for the needs of our local community in the current year. As Grand Knight of Council 638, I wanted to thank you all for your support during 2014.
Some highlights from the past year include:
This isn’t all inclusive but you can see that Council 638 is alive and well in El Paso. We need your support to make the “Mother Council of Texas” the leader it rightfully deserves to be. Council 638 has been greatly blessed to have Father Ed Carpenter from St. Josephs as our Chaplain. We will be active in many of the Service Programs offered by the Knights of Columbus in the upcoming year and could use all the help we can get in this regard, even if it is just your prayers for the success of our Council. We are looking to increase our support of our local Seminarians in the upcoming year
Many of you have been away from actively participating in the activities of the Council and I ask you to consider rejoining with us as we try to build something special here at Council 638. Your presence is missed, and your experience would be greatly valued. Great things are happening at your Council and we would love to have you back as active participants. If you need our prayers or assistance, please reach out to us and let us be there for you.
For tickets or more information, call or text (915) 328-7026.
God Bless You All, Fraternally Yours,
Abel Casas
